Dr. John Fleming Endorsement
CWPAC Endorses Dr. John Fleming for U.S. Senate in Louisiana
Washington, DC -- Concerned Women for America Political Action Committee, the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, based in Washington, D.C., today announced that it has endorsed John Fleming, M.D., candidate for U.S. Senate from Louisiana.
“Americans are concerned about our country, their future and the security of our nation,” said Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women PAC. “We are looking for leaders who are committed to not just talking boldly about important issues, but who are actually boldly addressing them. As a member of Congress, Dr. Fleming has proven himself willing to stand and fight for life issues, protection of the 2nd amendment, religious liberty, national security, protecting jobs for people at home and growing our economy. We are proud to endorse Dr. Fleming because he does more than just get a great scorecard with us, he rolls up his sleeves and is actually involved in the issues our members care deeply about. We see this and respect him greatly for that.”
Concerned Women PAC was established in 2002 by Founder and Chairman Beverly LaHaye and is affiliated with Concerned Women for American Legislative Action Committee. Under the leadership of Penny Nance, the organization today includes more than 500,000 grassroots members nationwide (www.cwfa.org).
“I am very honored to receive this endorsement today from one of the most respected conservative women’s groups in America, led by an inspirational leader like Penny Nance,” said Congressman Fleming. “They have been a tireless advocate for the family and under her
leadership, Concerned Women for America members continue to proudly fight for and promote rights that have been trampled on by this Administration. I vow to continue to be your ally, to protect these rights, and hold the Administration and Congress accountable as I have always done.”
Dr. John Fleming is a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate and currently represents Louisiana's 4th Congressional District. He was first elected in 2008, and is currently serving his fourth term. He is a Navy Veteran, a family physician for more than 30 years, and a small businessman who created hundreds of jobs in Louisiana.
